Being a television addict and a self proclaimed geek I often think about doing certain things. These things would be deemed geeky so I often talk myself out of them. Tonight listening to that inner voice cost me $140.
I’m sure by now you may have heard something about the Mega Millions lottery having over 9000 people playing the “numbers” from LOST. Those of you that have a life won’t know that those numbers are 4,8,15,16,23,42. Tonight, while plunking down $10 of my hard earned money, I thought to myself I should just go ahead and play those numbers on one of my quick picks. What the heck, just $1.00 of the 10, right? For some reason that seemed likes waste of time to me and I opted not to do it.
Tonight three of the numbers and the mega number all fell into place. 4,8,15,25,47 and the mega 42. Had I gone with my nerdy head I would have won $150, making back my ten plus some nice scratch.
Ah well, it was fun to play anyway.
